"This series consists of 7 photos. This series was inspired by being quarantined in the house, during the COVID-19 pandemic. During the pandemic, I had been bored out of my mind, CONSTANTLY repeating the same cycle daily, inspiring “Confinement”.

With this series, I trashed my bedroom, looking for variety of random colored objects, to photograph up against random colored backgrounds. With its vivid use of color, this series also redefines space. Confinement redefines a viewing perspective from the human eye, using larger to smaller scale, as the cycle of objects duplicate and repeat.

The variety of objects range from personal to artistic objects. (cell phone, cologne bottle, hair pick, computer mouse, spray paint, permanent markers, lighter, wireless speaker, hair bow, clear/duct tape, lubricant, sunglasses, wireless headphones, pills, tissue, hair clip, and pill bottle)

"I am a Color Theorist. I truly LOVE exploring color theory. Using vivid color in my art brings me peace, and it allows me to express myself, colorfully. To be honest, I don’t know when my obsession for color began, and I don’t know when it will end, but I do know, GSU helped me identify it, and gracefully explore it. For that reason, I am forever grateful. And it doesn’t end there, I love abstractly integrating architecture and clothing in my art, just as much. Collectively, all three subjects together are a masterpiece.
